Capital Campaign

Why a Capital Campaign?

Our current parish hall was a converted  Air Force barracks building purchased in the late 1960’s.  Over the past 30 to 35 years, the hall has been adequately serving our needs, until the most recent 5 years.  The parish has experienced tremendous growth, which is consistent with the growth in many areas in Eastern Harris County.  Presently, the parish has 3,700 registered families.

Our CCE registrations have increased by 650% in the past six years and now are at capacity with 650 students.

Our initial Capital Campaign will be $2,200,000.  Our total estimated costs for all 3 phases is approximately $$$$.

Our Needs are Addressed:

  1. Additional Facility/Office Space (New Life Center)
  2. Additional Parking Space
  3. Additional Classroom Space (New Classrooms)

Scope of the Project

Our current facilities consist of the following:

Sanctuary (10,415 sq ft), Classrooms (2,784 sq. ft.), Parish Hall (1,880 sq. ft.), James Lewis Hall (1,680 sq. ft.), Rectory (2,700 sq. ft.), Outdoor Pavilion (2,572 sq. ft.)

Phase 1

Parish Life Center (approximately 10,000 square feet),  Covered Pavilion (approximately 7,200 square feet),  80 Additional Parking Spaces, Demolish James Lewis Hall

Phase 2

New Classroom Building (approximately 6,000 square feet),  100 Additional Parking Spaces, Demolish Current Classroom Building, Relocate Current Parish Hall

Phase 3

New Office/Library Building (approximately 3,000 square feet), Expand Sanctuary, Demolish and Rebuild Rectory (Approximately 2,500 square feet)

How Will the Funds Be Raised

With the approval of our Archbishop Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, our Parish Pastoral and Financial Councils, we are conducting this special capital fund drive to raise $1,000,000 in pledges, payable over three years.  If we can raise this amount in pledges through our campaign, we will be able to meet our goals for the parish.  Please consider making a financial commitment to the “United, We Build our Future With Faith” Capital Campaign and be a part of this important work.

Fill us with Your light that we may see where You are leading us and the possibilities before us.
